Ran across your site and found it beautiful.
1.. For what it is worth, there are two old CB&Q box cars sans trucks behind
an industrial park next to DuPage airport. I don't know if you already know
about these or if you even care. You can still read the old lettering on the
wooden sides.
1.. My mother-in-law grew up in Colusa, IL and the Q daily between Quincy and
Fort Madison, I believe, ran through her front yard. It looks like I married
well!
