It is a Southern Pacific baggage car. Even AMTRAK
used them (for Mail). We (AMTRAK employees at MSP)
hated them because of the floor. It was raised about
3" except at the doors. Made loading with a pallet
jack almost impossible. We would hand load instead.
Time consuming but better that pallets and hand
trucks. CY
