I must say that I was rather surprised that some of you only just
discovered rrpicturearchives. Maybe you may have missed a few more.
If so, I've included a bunch of links that people who like the "Q" may
find invaluable...

(self promotion is possible)

http://www.bnsf.com/ - official BNSF site
http://www.steamrailroading.com
http://www.steamfreightcars.com/ - EXCELLENT site for photos/info on
older steam-era freight
http://www.steamlocomotive.com/ - Wes has good info on surviving locos
http://www.steamlocomotive.info/
http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/ - nobody should miss George's site
http://members.aol.com/rlsteam/ - Richard has some excellent photos
& commentary on Q steam
http://www.jerryapp.com/rr_album.html - if you don't know Jerry,
you've not been around the internet
http://donross.railspot.com - same goes for Don. Great vintage
photos, unfortunately, Railspot hosting doesn't always work that well.
http://www.ikemeyer.com/PH_Junction/ - great photography of the
(modern) Q routes
http://www.krunk.org/~joeshaw/pics/ - Joe has some good freight stuff
http://abpr2.railfan.net/ - before there was railpictures, there was
abpr, many Bud Laws photos there
http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/
http://www.railpictures.net/
http://www.irm.org/ illinois rr museum
http://www.burlingtonroute.com/ of course
http://www.qstation.org/ - info on BNSF/BN/AT&SF related topics
http://www.angelfire.com/il2/burlingtonzephyrs/ zephyr information
http://archive.trainpix.com/BN/ bn photos, can't beat Charles site
for BN stuff
http://www.gngoat.org/ GN Goat, not Q, but Lindsay has some good
Q-related info
http://www.greatnorthernempire.net/ GN Empire, same again, and Ben
has a site you can spend a good afternoon perusing
http://www.rypn.org railway preservation news, don't miss this for
news about historical railroads
http://www.railroaddata.com good general data
http://www.thedieselshop.us/ diesel rosters...for EVERYONE!

http://www.castlegraphics.com - can't beat this one... :)

That should do it for now. If you've not seen many of these, you had
better pull out a drink of your choice and get comfortable before
clicking...:)

Cheers!

Jan
