At one time there was a one car mail freight and passenger car that went
through Litchfield, Il, Not sure exactly where it went but if memory it
arrived here about 9 or so from the north and 5 from the south. The
question arises when it was taken off. I was told about 1951 but thought it
was later than that. We called it the Dinky but I know there were other
names. I have never found a pix of it either but it was cute. Any
information is appreciated and I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas
and Happy New Year.
