I have just received my Kato N scale CB&Q F3 passenger units for my California
Zephyr, which is hopefully enroute shortly, as well as the D&RGW PA/PB units.
I also have the Kato D&RGW F3s for this train. These units are very nice in
detail and painting except for one item - coupler distance. The units have
dummy couplers and are set very far apart, probably for those who want to run
them over very tight curves. What N scale couplers would best provide
prototypically close spacing and decent operation?
