G'day all,
While researching older Southern Iowa and Northern Missouri RR lines
on a 1895 Iowa map :

I noticed that a line going from Alexandria to Centerville and
further West (Shenandoah ?) was named "Keokuk and Western".
I would like to know if it was only a "paper company" for the CB&Q,
or rather a "real" independant predecessor.
Any source for this RR history will be much welcomed :-)
Marc
