The area around Greggs Station was incorporated as Westmont, Il. on
November 10, 1921. The chief founder of Westmont was Arthur T.
McIntosh, a land speculator who came to the area after WWI. Here is an
web link the provides a brief history:
www.chitownads.com/chicago/relo/NhoodTown.php?ntID=173. Thus, beginning
in late 1921,I suspect that the Q commuter timetables started
identifying the former Greggs Station as Westmont.
