Rcvd. the following from Dennis Popish, V-P BRHS Operations:
Guys: I just received last data from Greg Baumgartner and will
finalize flier to go out latest by end of week. Jim Singer had to
order envelopes and labels which he will receive mid-week. We will
assemble an army to get these stuffed and mailed by the end of the
week. Anyway, here are details -I believe we can disseminate info. as
Jim , Rich and I have coordinated all issues with Greg:
Meet Dates: Friday September 17, 2004 to Sunday, September 19, 2004
Meet Location: Best Western Prairie Inn (formerly Jumer's Continental
Inn, site of 1991 Galesburg meet)
I-74 at East Main Street (I-74 at East Galesburg exit (Exit 48)

BRHS special room rate is $67.00 per night, plus tax. $9.00 for each
additional guest per room. When registering mention you are with BRHS.

Annual Business Meeting 8:00-9:00 am
Woman's Tour of Historic Galesburg (extra fare event) 9:00 am-3:00 pm
Vendor set-up Swap Meet 9:00- 10:00 am
Model and Photo Contest set-up (entries due by 10:00 am for voting)
9:00- 10:00 am
Swap Meet Opens to BRHS Members 10:00 am
Swap Meet Opens to Public ($8.00 fee due at door) 11:00 am- 3:00 pm
Clinics (schedule to be posted) 11:00 am- 3:00 pm
Social Hour 5:30- 6:30 pm
Dinner (buffet style) 6:30- 8:00 pm
Raffles and Awards 8:00 pm
Program- "Galesburg, Hub of the Burlington Lines East" by Bill
Franckey and Gary Granberg, historians of the CB&Q in Galesburg and
producers of the DVD "Galesburg-Capital of the Burlington" After

Sunday, September 19th
"Breakfast at Grier's"- 9:00 am Grier's were located in many Q
restaurants, none as infamous as Galesburg's"! Local residents give
their memories of time spent in the depot restaurant.
