Hi John,
For something totally bizarre, you can convert a kitchen car into caboose
instead. FW&D 102 (usually on the Stamford to Abilene, TX, local in the
early 80's) retained its kitchen car side panels unit it was retired.

Hi Gang,
For those of you who were ready to start converting the new Walther's
Troop Kitchen cars into Mail Storage cars...here is a follow-up on my email
I posted about a month or two ago stating to be patient as I thought
Walther's had plans to do the converted version. I just received their new
product announcements for 2004/5 and it lists a 'Converted' Kitchen car as a
TBA item. No details, roadnames etc. but I will bet anything a CB&Q car will
be among them. Just thought you would like to know the latest.
