Hello All,

Back in Feb. there was a discussion here about three former
CB&Q E-9's that were in danger of, and mistakingly reported as
being scrapped. One of these units, CN/IC 104, ex-BN/WSMTD
9914 nee-CB&Q 9989-B has had a significant amount of body
work done to it. This unit is owned by Larry's Truck and Electric
and is stored at the CN Woodcrest shops. I have made a
website listing this, and other equipment in danger of being
scrapped.

http://www-personal.umich.edu/~tcornill/
Historic_Railway_Equipment.html

I strongly encourage anybody who is interested in preserving
this unit to discuss talk with their preservation group or LTE
(contact info for the latter available on my website). Likewise, a
discussion about options for preserving this unit has been
forming on the 'interchange' message board of Railway
Preservation News (www.rypn.org) and it would great to see
some new viewpoints there.

Note: I am not a broker and have no financial interest in the said
unit - I simply do not want to see a partially restored unit
scrapped.
