Corbin's book "Steam Locomotives of the Burlington Route", has a lot of
pictures of the 4-4-0's. It seems that all or a least most have C B & Q on the
cab side and the number on the side of the tender. It also is the same for B &
M R. Hope this helps some, John

Subject: [CBQ] Lettering for old-time CB&Q 4-4-0
What style lettering would be appropriate for a
1880-1900 era CB&Q 4-4-0? Are there any sources for
such lettering in HO scale?
