There is a BN caboose painting diagram on page 22 of the 1973 BN annual . It
is not real specific about the lettering sizes . As to the spec. for BN
green , the Microscale sheet for set number 549 shows several mfg. numbers .
Dupont number is 183 - AL - 490 - this is for an enamel topcoat . For a
urethane - a lot more expense , but a lot more durable , Dupont number is 826
-
Y - 99822 .
The white specs. are 183 508 and 826 - Y - 93881.
The data sheet shows these color numbers are from the St. Paul
Mechanical Div. in 1989.
