Tom,
Possibly some of the dome coaches might work for some of the
other trains. I didn't dig out my copy of the RPC CB&Q Budd
cars book, but I would think the dome coaches would work,
there might be some differences in the washroom windows
under the dome, and two of the Twin Zephyr cars had a crew
room under the dome. Possibly also the dining car.
The dome obs is unique to the CZ and the AKSB, the Twin
Zephyr's dome obs were unique in that the roof line was the
same height both in front of the dome and behind the dome.
Most of the the Q's other dome observation cars had the roof
line slightly raised behind the dome. Something that I've
noticed before but really have no idea why they were done
that way.
