What do you mean by "reasonably close"? The new Wathers 10-6 is a Sante Fe
"Pine" series 10-6, the bedroom isle windows match the 1952 Burlington order
from Budd. Silver Isle comes to mind. The origional CZ 10-6's had extra windows
on the isle side of the double bedrooms. One could sit in the bedroom with the
door open and see out of both sides of the car.

The other problem is the skirting on the car. With the exception of the
suburban gallery cars all of the Burlington post war Budd cars built for the
Burlington and the other three railraods (WP, PRR & D&RGW) operating the CZ
cars
those cars had full skirting. The origional Wathers 10-6 didn't have the
fluting
in the number board.

The only Wathers Budd car that is a prototype for the Burlington really isn't
a Burlington car, the NP Slumbercoach. This isn't a dish on Walthers the
passenger cars that Walthers has produced over the past few years are a plus to
the hobby.

Again is how prototype do you wish to model?
