I had always hoped a model manufacturer of Santa Fe "Hi Level" equipment 
would have made the sound of the Catepillar diesel engines located in each car. 
 
Or Waukesha Ice engines in passenger cars like NP, GN and CB&Q among others. Or 
Waukesha Enginators in UP dome cars.  Would be a cool touch, along with the 
sound of steam ejector air condition for Santa Fe or Milwuakee Road.

That will be the next level of passenger model railroading!
