Can anyone explain what is meant by "deck lid loading"? A notation in a
diagram book against XM-33's 22000-22329 advises that 50 cars were being
fitted up for "deck lid loading" for Ford Motor Co. in 1950. There was also a
note that 50 cars were equipped with "2nd deck steel floor". Would these be
connected?
