For those not familiar with the area & still debating attending, if
you can access a copy of "the Q" by the NW Illinois Chapter of the
NRHS, publ. 1990, you will find a 2 pp story & 3 pics about Oregon
inc. a photo of the Mt. Morris mixed with a Blackbird @ the point
leading a swtr, frt cars, wood waycar & what may be one of the troop
kitchen cars.
There is also a classic color autumn pic of a Twin Zephyr @ nearby
White Pines State Park further on in the bklt. See you in 7 weeks!
(if Rupert can come from New Zealand, it MUST be worthwhile!
Although now the secret as to who will win the most miles traveled
award is out in the open...)
