A great picture of Walther's new Santa Fe "Pine" series Budd built 10-6
appears in the latest Model Railroader. For those Q fans who model Burlington
Northern with former CB&Q equipment, simple changes can easily make this car a
BN
de-skirted "California Zephyr" or Burlington 10-6. A panel with the BN logo
and if desired subtle modifications to the "natural" skirt (as Budd called
them) would look like a terrific BN sleeper (pre-Amtrak)!
