Lenny:

I located the elevator track on the map. There was another spur a few blocks
to the north that opened to the north only. The map refers to a button factory
in a building served by this spur. Would this spur have still been around
until the end?

Glen,

If I were a betting person I would say the track ended north of the elevator
before it got to the main drag. The elevator was about the only industry there.
The elevator is still there.

I used to go to Oquawka during the summers and don't remember it crossing the
main drag.

  Glen:

I thought that I could help and dug out my alignment charts, only
to realize that my book was updated on 11-7-62 and the
Gladstone -Oquawka line was removed in 4-61.
