It has come to my attention that a former CB&Q Empire Builder sleeper is up
for sale or scrapping in the coming months. It is a 8 duplex roomette, 4
section, 4 double bedroom car. It's in good shape with an intact interior,
some rot on the vestibule end and interchangeable with a COT&S. The owner
wants $12,000 to $15,000 for it. Do you know of anyone within the Society
that is looking for a piece of CB&Q rolling stock?
