Hi Doug,

I could not find anything in the BRHS archives on this, so I've sent a copy
of this to the BRHSlist on Yahoo Groups to see if anyone there may have what
you are looking for.

Subject: A rather obscure question

I'm a writer in Denver working on a book about a 1920s Chicago gangster and
Colorado dude rancher known as Louis Alterie. He frequently traveled between
Chicago and Denver on the Zephyr and there is a report in a book that on one
trip he tossed a woman off the train, killing her. As I said, it's an
obscure bit of information, but I was wondering if you might have heard of
this incident? It likely occurred between 1925 and 1927. Any assistance you
can provide is appreciated.
