I was in Ste. Genevieve, MO today to see the St. Louis chapter
NRHS's train leave to go back to St. Louis. I saw a Burlington gon
#197197 on the ground from a BNSF derailment in late September. It
still had the CB&Q reporting marks and "Burlington" down the side
with the Burlington logo. Now it is just there awaiting the torch. I
got a shot of it, will post when I get the film back if someone
would like to see it.
This is the
first CB&Q car that I have seen in service (well, not now) in a long
time.
