This explains why BJRY has recently acquired two former Louisville & Indiana
GP16's. The BJRY is going to get a lot of business from these two lines in
Quincy - three ADM plants (the feed plant on the Moorman Lead and the the
oil refinery and soy meal plant on the Marblehead Line), JM Huber's calcium
carbondate plants, Underground Warehouse (literally!), Omya Qunicy, Quincy
Potash Center, Prince Agri-Products and SEM Minerals LP. A few industries
that appear inactive rail users or served only on occasion might get better
service as well including Titan Wheel (on the Moorman Lead) and Thrall Mfg
and Alter Scrap Processing.
