"I have been advised, by Via Rail Canada, that they intend to sell 4
dome observation cars which they have determined to be surplus to
their requirements. The 4 cars include 3 former CP cars (RIDING
MOUNTAIN PARK, SIBLEY PARK and ALGONQUIN PARK) and the former D&RGW
SILVER SKY. These cars have not been HEP'd and are stored at the
Montreal Maintenance Centre. Equipment will be available for
inspection - by appointment - and the auction will be conducted in
October. I will post more information when it is provided to me."
