Marshall: The Minnekahda Club was the lounge/drawing
room/compartment/bedroom car used as waiting space and carried next to the
diner on the Blackhawk.
It carried the train name on the letterboard. I do not know for sure if it
carried "Pullman" or "C.B.&Q" at the car ends. The car had a roving life on
several different railroads and wound up on the C&NW as its No. 440, and was
given
an open platform and used as an business car for one of the North Western's
departments.
The car is currently in "First Class Service" and Dinner Train service
at Mid-Continent Railway Museum.
