Hi Bill,
I was checking on DuPont's Imron paint and did quick research on Imron
for another post to the list.
Imron will provide many years of service when applied to your waycar.
But Imron has to be applied by a licensed applicator with protective
clothing and a pressure fed respirator and eye protection. Imron is
just like ACC glue when it comes to your eyes. A little drop will do
you. It will blind you instantly and permanently.
The good news. If your group can raise the money for application,
DuPont will almost always contribute the Imron to paint your railroad
item, whether caboose or engine. That is a significant cost saver.
Just be sure they get a good PR plug in the press.
