Having brought up the subject of track plans, has anyone ever seen a track plan
of the facilities/yards at Red Oak? I have some overhead imagery from the
early 50s from the USGS and have the photo from the Red Oak special edition,
but neither has a high enough resolution to discern anything but the most
obvious details, such as the wye and the roundhouse and turntable. I also have
the full set of Sanborn maps fro Red Oak, but they're of marginal value, other
than showing the general location of buildings and a stylized rendition of the
tracks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
