I've always custom-mixed it . . . using weathered black, reefer gray and 
silver or aluminum.   The thing is that graphite is/was so variable.  By 
doing a custom mix, I was always able to come pretty close to whatever 
prototype photo I wanted to match -

It doesn't much matter what brand of paint is involved.  Do some test 
swatches until you're happy -
