Gerald,
Any chance I could get some copies of those photo's of the 1960 in the South
Sioux Yard. I am currently looking for any info, photo's of anything
pertaining to the South Sioux yards.

Subject: [BRHSlist] re: last unit painted
BN 1960 was ex-Q GP-9 #275 which had been working So. Sioux City (quite a
few 4-axle units assigned there due to the then wt restriction on the old
"Omaha" bridge that the Q/BN had trackage rights over). I have quite a
few
photos of it in S. Sioux yard.
Shortly after the time of this repainting, "X2200 South" ran an article on
the 'last' units repainted broken down by predecessor road (GN, NP, etc)
and
car body type (F's & E's, U-Boats & EMD's, etc) - have it somewhere. I
also
recall that a CB&Q His. Soc. mbr at the time, living in Missouri, said
there
was still a Q road unit in red paint therein "78 but we were never able to
pin down the unit #. Gerald Edgar
