Ray,

Thanks for the information.  I have one #80 bit, and I am betting I 
will also need more than one to do the holes.  I will do some light 
weathering on mine, so the any shine of the Floquil should not be a 
problem.  I have already disassembled one caboose and removed the 
window glass.  Am thinking of putting in some clear window glass 
(acetate?) I have - it won't fit flush with the outside but it will 
be clearer than the Walthers plastic.

Question:  Seems the Walthers body is same correct length as the 
Challenger waycars I have (30 feet), but the roof of the Walthers is 
shorter.  I am assuming the Challenger is correct and the Walthers' 
roof was a concession to making the plastic model?  Or were some of 
the wood waycar roofs of different lengths?  Anybody?
