If the link doesn't work, check out the files section, "EL power at 
Dayton's Bluff". A little after the merge though, '72 or '73 IIRC. I 
caught this train departing Dayton's Bluff yard in St. Paul MN and 
got it again at Newport tower. It must have been some kid of run 
through, also a bit unusual seeing a pure consist. Covered wagons and 
GP-35's used to drift up here from time to time. I noticed the lead 
unit is an SDP-45.
