Report I have does not list water facilities - just coal & sand. In the
area (Ottumwa Div), facilities were as following (#'s after indicate capy in
tons/daily consumption): Burlington 150/126; Chariton 300/203; DesMoines
75/57; New London 200/111; Osceola */0.7; Ottumwa 250/139; Tracey 40/18
*Osceola was mere platform so no capy per se - apparently just used by a
local. No sand facilities @ New London, Osceola or Tracey. Looking thru
the entire Q system, one fact stands out - all facilities would have 1 or
more gons of coal sitting at them at all times as very few had more than 1-2
days storage capy. Gerald
