So did the Herrin Jct.-Metropolis local. It had the
Bi-Centennial paint job. By the way, that paint scheme
was done by the Metropolis bridge paint gang, (with
paint purchased by the local's crew) not by car
knockers. Someday, I'll write the whole story behind
it, if anyone is interested.
