I've looked in the BRHS archival material and can find no confirmation of
the built-date. The drawing I have has a date, but it is illegible. The
line was constructed in 1872, so the 1873 date seems plausible... Is there
anyone on the list that can help? Please remember to include Jenny in your
replies.

Hello.

I am an architectural historian that is currently documenting historic
buildings within a small area in Hinsdale, IL. Within this area is the
Highlands Station at 441 E. Highland. It was rehabilitated in the 1980s.
Does your group have any information that could confirm its construction
date as 1873, and whether or not it is the oldest standing railroad station
on the Burlington line between Chicago and Aurora? I am also looking for an
architect and/or builder of the station. The name may appear on plans. Any
suggestions on where I might find this information?

Thanks.
