I've compaired my old Halmark set to the Challenger "A" units.... and ya know 
they don't look all that bad! I mean of course they are a bit on the crude 
side I guess you'd say... but with some extra details and weathering.... 
they'll look pretty good. Also with the event of the PK2000's E 6's.... my 
old Halmarks now run very fine indeed! 

The Oriental's have a problem if memory serves with the gears. They tend to 
crack. Origionally the first Challenger E5's were planned to be put out as 
Oriental Limited. I haven't run my Challengers enough to give a report on 
them but they've run very fine. I have the run from the late 80's. 

I would try to find a set of the old Halmarks and repower them. And please 
get rid of the foot steps on the pilot! <G>
