Somonauk WWD 104 105 other tracks EWD 77

Zearing WWD 105 with 364 other tracks EWD 90

Track Chart 1966 Shows a WWD Siding with a two track stub track off this track
in addition to the north wye track to the track which use to go to Walnut.
EWD siding with two double ended tracks and a short stub. The South leg of the
wye also ran to La Salle with two double ended tracks on either side of the Wye
track. The NYC had three short stub tracks inside of the wye.

The NYC use to come over from Henry and wye there power and tie up at Zearing.
They would run north on the branch over the Main Line(track now gone and fill
as well) down the north leg of the wye into the siding then out on the Mainline
under signal indication thru the X overs and back into the East Siding and take
the unlock to return to the branch and their tieup tracks.

Had been the Mainline of the Illinois Valley and Northern RR Co. I hope to
cover it along with a planned article on the FOX RIVER Line

Steve and Leo, as time permits, could I ask you to look up some more
siding lengths from your 1927 and 1920 timetables? Somonauk Westward
and Eastward, and Zearing Westward and Eastward. Thanks.
