I got a quick peek at an advance copy which was sent to one of the locals
in my area who was one of the photo contributors to Mike's book. He was
very pleased with it, though, I should mention that he was curious why
there was no coverage of Ottawa, IL, Wedron [Silica], etc.
Personally, I must say that I will be selfishly coveting my copy, as the
subject matter is as if it was specifically written for my area and era of
modeling interest in the 'Q - made to order, so to say! For others, I
heartily recommend it as another "must have" in the continuing line of
"Color" books on the Burlington. I want to publicly give a loud THANK YOU
to Mike Spoor for continuing to put together these much needed . . . and
appreciated volumes.
