>From the Railroad Station Historical Society comes this news item:
The Keokuk Junction Railway has applied to the National Register of Historic
Places to have the Union depot there delisted. They claim a 8/4/01 accident
did irreparable damage that threatens the structural integrity of the
building. They also claim the depot was added to the register without their
knowledge.
To try and prevent that day, Rich Taylor invites anyone interested in helping
to try and save the building to contact him. R. L. Taylor, Keokuk Electric

Just thought I'd let other people interested in the K-line and fans of the
depot know.
