Three of the last 4 of the "widowmaker" boxcar waycars
were scrapped at GT on 1/4/56. They had been in
service on the Zeigler & Buckner mine jobs at
Christopher and the Old Ben # 9 job at West Frankfort,
the week before! 14836 was on the Orient #2 job for a
few weeks longer, then set around at Centralia (it was
used as a MOW bunk car a few times), until it "went
north" to be scrapped in 60.
