Won't work. The Athearn 2-8-2 is a USRA prototype. The O1a predates the USRA engines, having been built in 1917 based on the 1910 O1's. The 04's were USRA heavy's which is why the Rivarrosi engine worked for the conversion. The Athearn Genesis 2-8-2 is a USRA light, meaning boiler is about 10" smaller in diameter than the heavy, otherwise it is quite similar.
