jerry, all,
somewhere back in the early 50's there was an article written about a
trip with a freight pool crew from ottumwa to creston. do not know
the railfan magazine name or issue. remember reading/looking at it
when a good friend of the family, d w locke, brought it over for us
to look at. iirc, the author/magazine sent him his copy as he was the
engineer on this trip, or possibly he just went out and bought a
copy. so, somewhere there is an article about a trip over the west
ottumwa.
