According to Corbin & Kerka's roster, ten wheeler No. 967 was rebuilt from
H-4 mogul 1229 at Havelock in October, 1914. All the K-10 4-6-0s were
rebuilt from H-4s between 1908 and 1914 for branchline and commuter
service. No. 967 was one of the last to be rebuilt. Don't know about the
boiler swap. C&K say 967 was sold to H. Warp of Minden, Nebraska in April,
1955. Stagner (Burlington Route Steam Finale) says it was "acquired by a
Minden museum in April, 1955." So I'm not sure whether or not it was a
genuine donation. --jonathan
