Hello Listers,
I saw the emails today regarding the E6 to E5 conversion kit. I had been
communicating with William Basden of Delta Models on and off for the past year.
The email thread I saw this morning prompted me to get an update on Delta's
progress. I got a response from him this afternoon and thought I
would post this question to the list. He appears to be looking for more
information.
If somebody out there can help him with this, we might have a conversion kit.
Please remember to reply to both the list and Bill as I copied him on this
posting not to mention that I am interested in seeing this kit get finished too.
Thanks,
Tom

Subject: Re: E5 Conversion Kit
Hello Tom:
Thanks for your continued interest and inquiry. The locomotives will not be
included in the kit,you will have to purchase them.
I have been working on 2 seperate concepts for this kit,but nothing is in
stone as yet.
I want to be as accurate as possible with this kit,and one area that I need
better information on is in the roof area for the screens.looks to me as if
these units had a different one from the normal production.
Can you or the society help here ?
The kit will have all the parts to do a good basic model and the detailing and
to what magnitude will be left up to the person doing the modification.
Kit will consist of but is not limited to resin parts--fluted side
panels--truck shrouds--misc photo parts.
Thanks again
