wrote up a post a year or so ago refering to morrell meat shipments
out of ottumwa for mid 60's, 63-67, in answer to a post that i could
not find again. someone asked about the meat shipments and another
replied that all the morrell meat went on the 70's at night, which is
partially true.
morrells was a big shipper, on thursdays, years back, assuming 20's -
50's, Q ran meat trains from ottumwa, but i don't remember
any from my time frame of 63-69, but meat was still heavy on
thursdays. am out of town, will check for message when return home in
several weeks.
