I was hoping someone could help me with a new project. I just bought a
Rivarossi heavyweight RPO which will enter the paint-shop as soon as I get the
Milwaukee colours off of it. I have a few pictures (not very clear) of Q RPOs.
Apparently they varied quite a bit in terms of the window arrangements -- I've
seen them with 2,3,& 6 windows on either side near the small door. My car has
three windows and so is a close match to at least one class of Q RPOs. The
information I'm looking for would be the road numbers for cars in this
particular class and some indication of how to properly decal it. It seems that
all cars have the U.S. Postal Service lettering at the one end, but some have
additonal lettering (maybe Railway Express Agency) at the other end. Again I'm
looking for the right way to letter a 3-window car. I have a set of Microscale
decals for the heavyweight cars which seems to include eveything I might need.
