To solve the confusion on which F unit to get: 

Stewart, Life Like, Intermountain, and Athearn Genisis all make smooth 
running F units in different phases and nicely done (read pick your favorite 
shade of color) paint schemes. The ONE important factor to keep in mind is 
that none of them make the SAME road number. It therefore becomes obvious 
that the solution to the conundrum is to just "buy'em all!!"
