I received the following inquiry today. If anyone can shed some light on
this interesting question, please reply to all. (The bridge Mr. Dudlicek
refers to was built during the CB&Q era, and exists today carrying the
BNSF triple track main over Ogden Avenue, ie Rte 34 in the Northwest part
of Naperville, IL. The location is just North of the Post Cereal plant.

Thanks, Don

"Do you know the origin or history of the BNSF bridge over Ogden Avenue
east
of the automobile distribution yard? It's just down the street from my
office here at the Naperville Sun. It looks to me like this bridge was
built
from an old turntable, and I'd be interested in knowing more about it.
Anything you can tell me will be greatly appreciated."

Thanks,
Jim Dudlicek
