Hi, Hubert,

We're talking HO, right? This might be a possibility here, if the 
illuminated nose number boards can be cleanly separated from the original 
shell and inserted into the swapped one. From the outside it appears that 
the numbers stay with the shell, and that would mean that a swap would give 
me duplicates in red. I have four of the CB&Q E7's (two red and two black 
stripers), and six E8's (four red and two black). I think that these are 
all that L-L produced. They are in original boxes, unopened except for 
superficial inspection. The two black four-stripers are:

No. 21001 CB&Q 9939A and No. 21002 CB&Q 9940B.

If I could get these numbers in red with good appearance, I'd be willing to 
make the swap. Since you've had them apart you will know what is possible.
