"The Dolly"

I recently ran across a mention of a train referred to as "The 
Dolly" which covered the Q branch at Galva, IL and also ran from 
there to Galesburg. According to an online source it was a small 
steam powered local for many years and was eventually given over to a 
doodlebug. 
Does anyone out there have info concerning this run? (equipment 
used, beginning of doodlebug service, etc) If so your help would be 
appreciated.
