dcmania-
The Burlington started changing the nose stripes in 1959-60. Not all units
were repainted and the black stripes were common through the sixties. Kato
did not make a red stripe version, but one could mask out the striping,
overspray with silver, and decal the red stripes using MicroScale decals.
Red stripe version was on a quick rerun candidate list but the first run did
not sell out, so red stripes are in the distant future.

Subject: Questions
I am new to the group and have several questions:
1. I understand that a back issue of The Zephyr had a list of Q diesels left
in the Blackbird scheme at the time of the merger. Where could I get a copy
of this or does someone have the list as a separate piece?
2. Does anyone know the history of a Q waycar being used as an office or
residence that is just off the highway between Carbondale, CO and Aspen, CO
(believe it is around Snowmass)?
Thanks in advance.
